How to best describe our small bit of paradise? First, and most important, we are locally owned and since Spring Valley is our home it will also be your home while in Kep. We don’t even call ourselves a hotel. Owners and staff respectfully refer to Spring Valley as our house. From your perch, high in the trees, you will see normal, everyday life unfold. It’s as if you were an honored guest in a small Khmer village. You’ll hear roosters in the morning and monkeys in the evening. Babies will cry and laugh under your window. The staff will giggle and smile. Our cooks will prepare your breakfast to order and remember just how you like your eggs. Chopped chillies for your omelet, madame? Serenity with no artificial ingredients!
We’re nestled on the slopes of Kep National Park, just a short walk to the newly restored beach. Our 28 rooms, in a cluster of small buildings, are scattered throughout vibrant green gardens, connected by walkways that wind through vines, trees and flowering plants. Tropical fruits, including durian, mango, papaya, jackfruit, passion fruit, wild mangosteen, and three kinds of bananas can be found (and tasted) in every corner of the property. Your hosts, Mr. Ritz and Madame Meng, offer four distinct accommodations (Kep Heritage, Kep Sun, Pagoda and the Khmer Traditional House) set within the lush, tranquil gardens. Many have sea views. The lovely free form pool, surrounded by jungle, is adjacent to Mr. Mab…very delicious, our open air restaurant and bar. We hope that you will enjoy your time with us. Spring Valley is – uniquely Kep!
