Brave yourself against seemingly impassable roads, explore hidden temples, camp in the jungles or just take it easy. We have been taking riders off the tourist trail to see the real Cambodia since 2000. Whether you’re a novice rider or an enduro expert, we have something to suit you. We also offer cycling tours and 4WD tours for non-motorcyclists.
Dancing Roads Tours is a Cambodian-English partnership which brings together East and West. By combining in-depth local knowledge with Western standards, we offer the best-value dirtbike experience in the country.
If you’re travelling alone and you’d like to join a group, keep an eye on our calendar or drop us a line. If you’ve already got a group of friends together and prefer a private or customized motorcycle tour, just contact us.
Dancing Roads Tours was set up by Paeng and Sonia in the year 2000. At that time sealed roads were few and far between, so what better vehicle to negotiate those Dancing Roads than a dirtbike! While a few more roads are sealed these days, our aim remains the same: to give visitors a safe alternative means of travel around the country, to develop the best ‘off the beaten track’ routes, and to cater for all kinds of travellers, from novice motorcyclists to enduro experts, from mountain bikers to on-roaders. With local Khmer guides you will be able to interact with the locals while getting the ‘Cambodian perspective’ on the country’s people, history and culture.
Dancing Roads comes from the Khmer phrase ‘plough roam’, used by locals to describe the bumpy condition of rural routes. And although some of the larger highways in Cambodia are dancing no longer, Dancing Roads is constantly researching new routes to guarantee the best off road alternatives. In Cambodia, there is no need for riding permits, official motorcross tracks or enduro circuits – just find a trail, ride and enjoy!
Dancing Roads Tours was set up by Paeng Ton, who leads and plans the routes taken, and Sonia Taheri, the general manager, who has been living in Cambodia since 1999. Besides Paeng, our tour staff features Thach, Leng, Chea, Ra and Vuth, who are all accomplished and experienced riders, guides and mechanics.
